Waiting for Bear

This book, set in the bustling world of five woodland companions, tells a story of friendship, patience, and the importance of love. When winter comes, Bear hibernates. Missing her friend, Bunny comes up with the idea of planning a party to celebrate when Bear wakes up. Bear’s friends, Deer, Beaver, and Turtle, join the party planning. Over the winter, Bunny helps Deer and Beaver think of what they want to bring to Bear’s party. When they have finally decided what to bring, Turtle teaches them that showing Bear how much they love him is all they need to do.
